The Danner Marine boots has met the standards of the Corps.  U.S.M.C. certified, the BOOTS is made with expert craftsmanship and top- of- the- line materials that meet the strict specifications set by the military. Rough-out full-grain leather for toughness. A Vibram Sierra outsole for comfort. Lace to toe for better fit. Stitchdown construction and wider support system for stability. No BOOTS is more fit for duty.

In fact, the stitch down construction of this boot means that you can send these boots back to Danner for recrafting time and again.  As long as you reasonably take care of your uppers, these boots can be completely recrafted at the Portland factory.  Their expert craftsmen can replace the outsole, rework the leather and restitch the seams bringing your favorite boots back to life to fight another day.  These boots are an investment you'll never regret.
