Built to the exact military specification FNS/PD 96-17 (MIL-C-83141A), the Propper Nomex flight suit is worn by all U.S. military flight crews. It is made of 92% Meta Aramid, 5% Para Aramid and 3% conductive fiber fabrics, making the flight suit flame-resistant. The CWU 27/P flightsuit features a two-way zipper with Nomex material pull tab, six primary pockets, adjustable waist belt with Velcro, a knife pocket on the left inseam, a pencil pocket on the left sleeve and a gusseted back.
