Our pocket chainsaw is the perfect addition to your camp pack. Ideal for back country pack trips, it comes with a small can (2 3/4" in diameter by 7/8" in height) with a screw on top. This is for easy storage in your gear. It is lightweight at only 5 ounces for the saw, 1 ounce for the tin for a total weight of 6 ounces. The chainsaw is 28 inches in length. The links of the saw are riveted together for durability. Alternating on each side of the links are dual cutting teeth that will make a 1/8 inch wide cut. The teeth are designed to be symmetrical so they cut the wood on both of your strokes. The saw comes with two metal rings that slip onto the ends for handles. Our suggestion is to use a piece of wood slipped into them for a better and more comfortable grip. When you first use it, it will seem a bit stiff. Don't worry, it works wonders once you get it going. Keep it well oiled and it will last you a lifetime. This pocket saw is made in the United States.
